Four rules
Every colored region on the board must contain exactly one pet - not zero, not two.
A placed pet controls its entire row and column - those cells are locked out from every other region.
Pets can't touch horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - one placed pet blocks all eight surrounding cells.
Every puzzle can be solved through deduction alone. No guessing - ever.
